Here’s what's going on this weekend...

🎟️ GRAB YOUR SEATS: Chris Brown & Usher “The R&B Tour” at Allegiant Stadium | New Date Added (Sept 6 & 18 Seats Available!)

LIMITED TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE FOR ALL DATES! Don’t let the promotional poster fool you—while the graphic marks September 5 as “Sold Out,” official secondary inventory, fan resale, and released production seats are actively available directly through Ticketmaster! As of today, All three dates—Saturday, September 5, Sunday, September 6, and the newly added Friday, September 18—currently have seats up for grabs.

Promotional image for "THE R&B TOUR," co-headlined by Chris Brown and Usher. The central panel shows the artists in all-black suits, sitting in chairs against a white background. Their full names (Raymond & Brown) and first names (Chris and Usher) are layered behind them in outlining text. The left panel features the large tour title. The right panel is black with white text detailing the tour dates. A white line strikes through the September 5 date, with a "SOLD OUT" banner across it. "SEPTEMBER 6" and the newly added date "FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18" at Allegiant Stadium are clearly listed below. The Ticketmaster and Live Nation logos are at the bottom.
Due to high demand, Chris Brown and Usher have added a special third show on Friday, September 18, for "THE R&B TOUR" in Las Vegas!

This isn’t just a concert; this is a full-blown event! Two of the most prolific, energetic, and chart-topping titans in R&B history are joining forces for a true co-headlining stadium run. When Usher and Chris Brown hit the same stage on the same night, you aren’t just getting hits; you are getting decades of insane dance choreography, non-stop Billboard anthems, special guest surprises, and full stadium production—literally a defining moment for R&B music.

Demand has been so overwhelming that one night just wasn’t enough. Here are three critical things you need to know about this Las Vegas stadium takeover:

  • TWO ORIGINAL LABOR DAY DATES + ONE ALL-NEW DATE! Yes, you read that right. While this specific tour poster updates with the incredible news of a newly added show, you need to mark down Sunday, September 6, as well! The tour graphic correctly shows Saturday, September 5 (currently SOLD OUT!) and the brand new Friday, September 18 date, but also confirm that Sunday, September 6, is locked and happening, making this a rare three-show run in the desert!

  • A DOUBLE-HEADLINING MASTERCLASS: This isn’t one supporting the other. This is a full-force dual set where you will get entire back-to-back performances from both artists, ensuring you hear all your favorites from both catalogs on one massive night!

  • FULL STADIUM-SIZED PRODUCTION: Don’t expect the usual tour stage. Allegiant Stadium means a massive stage built specifically for high-energy stadium choreography, enhanced LED visuals, insane pyrotechnics, and a sound system that will carry every soulful beat right across the floor of the Raiders’ home turf. This is a big-stage spectacle you won’t want to miss!

📍 Home Girl Tip: Okay, my main event-goers, listen up for this one! Traffic at Allegiant Stadium during peak event nights is no joke. I’m talking a literal gridlock. My absolute top advice? Do NOT try to take an Uber or a Lyft directly to the stadium. It won’t happen. The line of cars waiting to get in and out is endless. Instead, take your rideshare to Mandalay Bay, and from there, walk over the Hacienda Bridge, which is blocked off and safe for pedestrians during all stadium events. It’s a quick, easy walk, and you will save yourself hours of sitting in a car going nowhere. Also, get to Mandalay Bay well before the 7:00 p.m. doors-open time—you’ll get a head start on walking, avoid the rush, and can grab drinks inside the Mandalay Bay restaurants before navigating the pedestrian lines onto the bridge. And remember—clear bags only!

WHAT WE'RE LOVING THIS WEEK

Architectural rendering of the proposed $158 million North Entry Plaza upgrade at Allegiant Stadium, featuring an elevated pedestrian deck, illuminated entry canopy, and integrated walkways.
Allegiant Stadium’s $158M upgrade: Elevated walkway and expanded north entry. (Credit: Grimshaw/Raiders)

If you’ve ever walked the Hacienda Avenue bridge after a packed Raiders game or a sold-out stadium concert, you already know the absolute chaos at the north gates. That massive bottleneck is officially on its way out. The Las Vegas Stadium Authority just greenlit $75 million in surplus hotel room taxes to back a major $158 million overhaul of Allegiant Stadium’s main entrance—with the Raiders picking up the remaining $83 million tab.

Raiders President Sandra Douglass Morgan called it like it is: that north entrance is stretched to capacity, and our game-day infrastructure needs to match the luxury energy Vegas is famous for. This project isn’t just a face-lift—it’s a masterclass in crowd-flow strategy designed by world-renowned architecture firm Grimshaw.

Here is how that $158 million investment is going to change the entire vibe for fans:

  • The Elevated VIP Walkway From the Strip: Say goodbye to walking down to street-level traffic only to trek back up. The main feature is a seamless, raised pedestrian deck extending directly from the West Hacienda Avenue overpass over Lot C, carrying you straight into the stadium’s north gates without missing a beat.

  • Ground-Level Rideshare Hub & Vegas Loop Access: Underneath that brand-new elevated walkway deck, they’re building out dedicated, streamlined rideshare pickup and drop-off lanes to eliminate post-game traffic nightmares. Even better? The layout is being future-proofed with an underground station slot for Elon Musk’s expanding Vegas Loop tunnel network.

  • Shaded Pregame Plaza & Live Event Stage: No one wants to stand under the blazing desert sun waiting on security lines. A massive architectural canopy will span the north plaza, offering full shade alongside an outdoor venue space built specifically for pregame activations, brand pop-ups, and live music stages.

  • Where the Money’s Coming From: Let’s talk numbers, because locals always like to know where the money is coming from. The public’s $75 million piece comes strictly out of surplus hotel room taxes already set aside specifically for stadium capital improvements—meaning zero general tax dollars or local city funds are being touched. With shiny new NFL venues popping up across the country, keeping our $2 billion house looking and feeling world-class protects Las Vegas as the sports capital of the world.

Home Girl Tip: 🏈 Timeline to Know! You don’t have to worry about construction zone traffic during your game-day fits this year. Work won’t even kick off until after this current football season officially wraps up, with the entire elevated deck and plaza scheduled to wrap up right before Las Vegas hosts its next Super Bowl in 2029!

LAS VEGAS WEATHER UPDATE

☀️ Late Summer Warmth, Crisp Evenings & Perfect Desert Nights 🍸✨

September in Las Vegas is finally giving us a break from those brutal, 110-degree summer days! We are officially easing into cooler weather, which means step-outside-and-actually-enjoy-it season is back.

We are kicking off the week with ideal late-summer vibes! Friday (96°F) and Saturday (97°F) are serving pure, golden desert sunshine—perfect for pool parties and daybed lounging. Keep your eye on Sunday, September 6, though: we have a quick weather plot twist with a 55% chance of light rain rolling through, cooling us down to a super refreshed 80°F! By Monday, the sun comes right back out with smooth, clear skies and a breezy 93°F.

As we ease into the rest of the week, conditions lock in steady with daytime highs holding comfortably in the mid-90s (95°F–96°F) under bright, sunny skies. But the real luxury is what happens after sunset—overnight lows are dropping into the crisp low-to-mid 70s with gentle southern breezes keeping the Strip and downtown corridor completely effortless.

  • 💡 Home Girl Tip: 🍸 Patio Season Is Officially Elite Again! With these low-70s evenings back in rotation, outdoor dining, rooftop cocktails, and late-night patio hangs are top-tier again. If you’re snapping content, walking the dog, or taking outdoor meetings, your prime Golden Hour window is before 11:00 AM or after 7:00 PM when the desert air hits just right. Tap into it, besties! 💃🏾✨
